Synopsis:
This short film will focus on an elementary school setting, where a mom comes to pick up her daughter only to realize she has been taken by the State Department of Children and Families. The courtroom setting a couple of years later show how the parents go to court to get their children returned. They soon realize the state is seeking to terminate the parental rights of the birth mother because of her lesbian lifestyle, which the state deems an unfit environment for children.
